I knew from a young age that design was my passion. As a designer, I put my heart and energy into each new project, and my excellent and diverse portfolio reflects my great passion for all things design.
The programme will educate the community about the importance of chocolate. It will show the process of making a chocolate bar from beans and the hard work that comes with making the chocolate bar. The programme also includes a library containing books about fair trade culture and useful books about cacao and herbs growing and as well as the history of slavery and the modern slavery that farmers in developing country are still facing today.
The general public can access the building and benefit with all the programme. They can explore the library throughout the floors whilst learning as they journey up alongside the museum and the farm. The public can also just stop by the chocolate café bar where they can get a chocolate shot and shop.
Our waste culture is becoming even more apparent today. Therefore, as a designer I felt that it was my duty to design with sustainability in consideration. By using sustainable materials in my proposal including the pulp from waste paper packaging of the site will combat the waste problem of the site as well as create a beautiful and sustainable ornamental pieces for the project.
